Review on Zoom 3049-00-00L V.92/V.44 External Control Fax Modem by Ken Wilson

This modem is great. Fast, PnP, easy to set up on Mandrake Linux 8 and Mac OS X. Automatically detected and configured. Windows 2000 shows up the first time and never again (usually). Now that I have a very good internet connection from Linux and Mac, I will never use the Micro$oft operating system again. Thanks to Lucent and Zoom for a great product! After 2 months of using this modem I only received praise, nothing more. It works very well with my Macs and my PCs. OS 8, OS 9 and OS X run smoothly. Very good modem.
