Review on Enhanced Bike Trailer Coupler Attachment with Angled Elbow for Instep & Schwinn Bike Trailers by Titanker by Pat Peoples

Ideal for bikes with thru-axle

As elsewhere reiterated, this part was a lifesaver. Excitement about the new bike turned to disappointment when I realized that the 12mm thru-axle that attaches the rear wheel to the new gravel bike didn't match the trailer I got for Father's Day, which is what I mean by it Guys have been happy to transport for many families. rides. I envisioned a series of jury verdicts when I discovered that this clutch would get the job done without the safety issues associated with home repairs. I still had to carve out a rivet on my trailer bracket to fit the hitch, but that was because my trailer was from a (installed but) slightly lesser known brand and should be slightly different from the most popular trailer model. However, a few minutes with a Dremel tool is a lot better than having to replace an entire bike trailer with an axle that was 2mm wider than the old mount. Sometimes you have a problem and the internet has already solved it with a perfect and affordable solution. I like it when things come together like this.

Pros
  • Universal Bike Trailer Hitch: Fits almost all Schwinn and InStep brand bikes and trailers (e.g. all series AA, AB, AC AD, AE, AG, AH, AI)
Cons
  • unreliable
