Review on πŸͺ’ Premium Plus Twin Blade Razor featuring a Pivoting Head by Lord by Sarah Phillips

Great Grip: Fits Personna Twin Pivot Plus cartridges, not Dorco cartridges

I bought this because it was advertised as Gillette Atra compatible and I shaved with discontinued Dorco Comfort Thin II razors (oh what a betrayal, I hate Dorco for hiring them) and they were advertised as Atra compatible. I wanted a new shaving system that was cheap, good quality and only used dual blade cartridges. This grip took a little getting used to, but once I got used to it, I really liked it. The angle is just right for me to be able to hold the pen slightly away from my face, which I find ideal. It's a bit different from the Dorco pens (which need to be held closer to the face) and the Gillette pens (which are probably somewhere in between). I held it in my hands and chose the best one for it, but in the end this pen works much more comfortably. I think this is a product with an improved design. I got a few small cuts during my adjustment period, but now that I've figured it out I've been shaving for days without even a tiny scratch. It took me less than 2 weeks to get used to this new grip. I've used it with Personna Twin Pivot Plus cartridges and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend them and highly recommend pairing these cartridges with this pen. They turn well, there is a good turning range. Interestingly, this handle doesn't fit Dorco cartridges, but that's okay, I'm running low on this and still dislike this shaving system. This pen looks well made and durable. There is a non-slip handle that is easy to hold and easy to clean. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I'm impressed. I've been using it for about a month. The combination of this handle and Personna blades will save me a lot of money in the long run. I'm very happy with the quality of shave I get, which speaks volumes for both the handle and the blades. Highly recommended!
