Review on 🔧 ACDelco Professional 45G18709 Front Coil Spring Insulator in Black - Enhance Suspension and Reduce Vibration by Edward Perez

These insulators will NOT work as bottom coil insulators as mentioned in another review. The inner diameter is too small and does not fit properly in the forearm coil seat. Even if you seal it during installation (as mentioned) the insulator will eventually slip as the coil will also move while riding, especially when riding over bumps, bumps or off-road. I believe that is why GM eliminated the lower isolator on the 1500 series trucks from 99-06. But I wanted to help protect my lower control arms as I had just replaced them because the original LCAs on the Coil seats were cracked (not sure it's normal/expected on a 20 year old truck). I couldn't find the original bottom insulators (rubber/slotted rubber that match the coils).
