The picture is deceptive. I thought it would be a platform for installing an AC unit. No, that is not so. It's like a hand. The top surface is only about 4 inches wide. Therefore, the foot pad is only about 3 inches. For a 100-pound air conditioner, that's a lot of pressure in one spot compared to what's typically some sort of siding. The picture made me think the leg mount would be 18 inches or longer to better distribute the load. I went ahead and used this for a 100lb 18500 Btu block, but I also used the two L brackets that came with the block and put a metal plate underneath to distribute the load. This is normal for a smaller device. Reconsider this for larger units.
