Less plastic is good
I drink a lot of iced coffee in the summer. Although I try to store, wash, and put my plastic straw away in the car, I still reach for a new straw often. So I decided to try a metal straw. I got this set to give away and stash in different places so I don't have to come to the store without it. So far, so good. What I noticed: Metal straws get cold in cold drinks - yes, but I just didn't think about it before. Also, metal straws don't bend, so don't put the drink/straw in your mouth. be gentle

Our straws have a wall thickness of 0.5 mm. They are very strong and not too heavy or too light.
