I'm giving this a 2 star rating for the moment. Recently I got a device for testing TDS in my tap water. Shortly after I decided to test my shower water. It clocked in at almost 900 TDS. Needless to say I was very concerned and researched shower filters and decided to get this one due to the good price and mostly positive reviews. Well this was great for one shower. I tested it initially and it went down to 115 TDS. I was very happy as 115 is much better than 900. When taking my second shower with the filter installed it was back up to almost 900 TDS again. I ran the shower a couple of times to make sure and it kept coming up high. I got a replacement filter when I ordered this and will try replacing it to see if maybe it was just a bad filter. If this happens again or it only lasts a month or so I'm to look at other filters that are compatible with the case and just a different companies filter in it. I will say that it was very easy to install the filter casing so that is something positive.
