I rarely use them, but they save lives on older cars. These aren't toys. Don't leave them near children. They must work very sharply - and they are sharp, like a bent new ice axe. I hold them with special tools like blades. They have excellent grip. The size is great. Glasses easily fall under the material. Can also be used to salvage other items that are stuck due to use, but remember this is mostly for cars. Always use safety goggles with tools and keep children away from your tools. Jackhammers are also dangerous for children.
