Review on Wood Yarn Holder Twirling Mechanism by Doris Tran

I bought this for $20 after seeing a handmade yarn holder at my local $40 yarn store and thought that I don't have to spend that much for a yarn holder. If I had to make it again I would just buy a handmade one. This is not the color shown on Revain. It's lighter and the wood looks cheap. It all seemed rough and prickly. You cannot use it this way as it will snag your yarn. I had to take it apart and go over it with 2000 grit sandpaper to make it super smooth, like homemade. It's a bit crooked, which doesn't bother you when you use it, but still indicates a lack of attention. to the details contained therein. I'm not that disappointed to return it but if I buy more they will be handmade and excellent quality. Only buy this if you're on a tight budget and don't mind working on making them less lame.
