Review on KitchenTour Coffee Scale with Timer 3kg/0.1g: High Precision Pour Over Drip Espresso Scale for Perfect Brewing (Batteries Included) by Brandon Mix

OK, but only for the price

In the world of overpriced coffee makers obsessed with Bluetooth connectivity, this is a good economical option, but it has some notable downsides. that sometimes it takes a full second to get the right weight - I pour coffee beans into the container while it's on the scale, the display quickly adjusts to show me the weight, and then *a full second*, after I stop touching anything and the reading stops changing, the weight on the scale jumps up or down without prompting, often by a full gram. It doesn't seem like a lot of time, but in practice it's more than enough to start harvesting your beans. I ordered a replacement thinking it was a defective model but the problem persists with the replacement as well. Other than that, I don't have much to complain about, except that the display's refresh rate is a little low for pouring water, and the timer button doesn't have a millisecond display, so you have to wait a full second to know you've successfully triggered it, since the Keys are flat and provide no physical or audible feedback when touched. A minor issue, but also something so simple that it seems like the manufacturer knew coffee drinkers would love to have a timer on their scales, but nobody actually tested it - if they did, these major quality of life problems would be solved . was flattened. But don't get me wrong - it looks good, appears to be well built and has a durable non-slip surface. Good scale for the price.
