The fan doesn't move any air at all, even at high speed. The unit can cool a small room, but certainly not a medium or large living room. It's well made and easy to assemble, but doesn't seem capable of cooling a medium or large sized room. Advertising gives the impression that there is a lot of fast-moving cold air coming out of the device. In my view it is not.
