Works perfectly! best parts

Was skeptical as the Mercury OEM fuel pump was almost $500. I decided I had nothing to lose by trying the $59 version. Checked with the manufacturer of the pump and found it to be good. I got a new pump and it looked exactly like a faulty Mercury pump that had seized up. Very easy to install. This new pump comes with plastic screens on the bottom to filter out debris. The new pump works great and my 40hp outboard runs great. works like new! I still can't believe this cheaper solution worked, but it worked. Took the boat out a few times, works great! Watch YouTube "Danger Marine" to learn how to disassemble the fuel pump/VST to install this. IT WAS EASY and I'm not a boatswain! I saved a bunch of $$ by making it myself. Will most likely buy another one just to have on hand when needed.
