Review on BELL Ollie Bike & Skate Helmet: Pretty Pink/Purple Protection for Biking and Skating by Brian Inman

My 1 star rating is based on both the product itself and my experience of returning it. First the product. Nice looking helmet. But too big for my 9 year old. Although the stated age is 8-14 years. I found another bike helmet in the store (same age range 8-14) that fits perfectly. Maybe the difference is that the one I bought from the store was a dedicated bike helmet and this one was a skate/bike helmet, so maybe the style is different. But it shouldn't matter much. The age range given may not be correct if your child is at the lower end of this range. Second, I sent it back because it didn't fit. There is no indication on the product detail page that I will be charged for the restocking, which I did. Instead, the page says "FREE SHIPPING" in bold. How do I know this doesn't apply to returns?! Also, the refund email says I'll be charged a 20% restocking fee, but it was closer to 50%. I am now contacting the seller for a full refund. I will update my review if this turns out to be a good customer service experience. But I still can't recommend this product for a small child due to its size.
