Read the reviews and basically say the wetsuit is bigger. My daughter is 4.5 years old, weighs 34 kg. Yes she is petite so I bought a size down (size 3) and it might fit her and she had little room to grow. On the other hand, I have a son who is almost 2 years old (31 lbs). Most people say he's tall for his age so I got him a size 2 and it fits him perfectly with little room to grow. This item is essential for families who swim all year round. Even though we have a heated pool, this wetsuit kept them warm, especially when they got out of the water.
