Don't Do It!: Cookware Sets

I bought these for myself to replace a Cuisinart cookware set I've had for about nine years, which I found quite impressive. I've compared many different ones, looked at ratings, prices, consumer reviews, etc. and this one struck me as the best. Unfortunately, I am not very happy with this set. First the good ones: - They are nice and heavy and seem to conduct heat well - There are many different sized pans so you can use the right one for the right application - They look nice. Now for the bad: - The non-stick coating doesn't seem to be very durable. When I cook, I only use wooden or plastic utensils, and pots and pans get scratched (I've only had them about a month). Speaking of non-stick coating, it doesn't work very well. I have to rub them pretty hard to get the food off them. The handles are too small for such heavy pans. This makes them quite uncomfortable to hold. - The handles on the lids get so hot you have to lift them with oven mitts. - A nice deep 4 liter pot is not included in this set. (It has a Dutch oven, but the diameter isn't the right size to fry a lot of food.) The 3.5 liter pot isn't deep enough, so there's a lot of splattering. If it wasn't such a hassle to pack everything up and send it back, I would have sent this set back immediately.
