Review on 🌑️ Infrared Quartz Tower Heater by Amazon Basics - Grey Wood Grain Finish, 1500W by Scott Gafur

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Attention, isn't it as great as "infrared " heating, hybrid heating?

Now I understand that literally all reviews are product reviews for this heater, not including vines. This may be the reason for the rating. In short, this product may suit those looking for a hybrid room/infrared heater, but I would _not_ recommend it for those looking for a true infrared heater. Infrared heat is designed to heat surfaces (such as people) that the heater is pointing at, not air. myself. I found it strange when an infrared heater has a fan, most infrared heaters don't use fans as the heat is transmitted as light. Infrared heaters make you feel warm as soon as you turn them back on, rather than heating up the air. but rather on the surface. I bought this and a standard fanless infrared heater at the same time, both 1500w. The difference was day and night. This generated much less heat, even at high RPMs. In addition, the fan cannot be switched off. Heaters heat a room by slowly increasing the temperature of the air. Infrared heaters are designed for rooms with reverse airflow or where you only need heat at certain times instead of heating the actual room. While they can increase the temperature in a room, this only happens when the surfaces heat up and are then transmitted to the air. The quality of the product seems good but I don't expect it to work as a standard tower infrared heater.
