My wireless speakers have failed a few times; The speakers stopped talking to each other and went out of sync. I decided to go back to the wired system. I looked at multiple brands, reviews, and prices from multiple vendors before purchasing. The system was easy to install and I used optical wire to connect to a Visio flat screen TV. The remote works well and easily toggles input options. I also connected the DVD player to the TV using red, blue, green (video) and red/white (audio) cables. The sound quality is surprisingly very good and clear, commented my mother, who was sitting about 2.5 to 3 meters away from the TV. She suffers from hearing loss and needs hearing aids in both ears. I tried other surround speakers including surround speakers. She doesn't like noises coming from behind her back. Both of these fairly inexpensive speakers work better for them than much more expensive systems and options. I would make this purchase again. Connected on February 7, 2019.
