Disgusting gray on swing upon delivery

I bought these for my chicken coop to give my hens more exercise. It says it's natural wood and wrapped in plastic, so I'm guessing that the wood's moisture caused the mold to grow all over the body, including the little balls. Terrible way of shipping a product by throwing it away. waste of money.

Pros
