These are not genuine New Balance shoes. The label says "Made in China". UPDATE: Contacted New Balance and they have confirmed that the 1080s are not made in the USA. They have provided the following information for verification: Here are a few things to look out for when buying genuine New Balance shoes: Our boxes have a label on the side with the model name, size, color code and bar code. The label on the tongue matches the labels on the box and all labels on the shoes. Our New Balance logo appears on most of our insoles. Many of our models have the NB logo on the sole, usually near the heel or toe. The registered trademark (R in a circle) must be legible and the lines are clean (ie not smudged) I could not find any registered trademark on either the packaging or these shoes.
