Installed on JLU Wrangler with Sky One Touch Power Top

I took a chance on this item because it was cheaper than a competitor item sold on Amazon. I didn't buy both so I can't give you a competitive comparison. I am happy with the quality of the product and there is a 10 year warranty on the umbrella itself and a 3 year warranty on the elastic cords. I installed a Sky One Touch Power Top on my JLU Wrangler. They provide you with a folded piece of paper as a tool and help you thread the front elastic cords between the roll bar and the windshield without having to unscrew the windshield. I had to make my own "tool" using a folded piece of packing crane to thread the elastic cords on the side poles between the headlining and the one touch power top canopy - it's very tight. Although they have a chart showing how long to install the bungee cords and where on the roof pole, my Sky Power roof meant I had to reposition some of the bungee cords to accommodate them. The bungees create good tension for the curtains and this is what makes installation the hardest - pull firmly on the bungee cords to create tension. I'm 5ft 6" tall and ride with the seat in the lowest position and the curtains in place, I feel like they are close to my head. I can imagine taller people banging their heads against the curtains when not riding in a seat. leaned back a bit. It definitely reduces the heat of the sun as well as the wind for the rear seat passengers. My kids who ride in the back hate how the wind hits them when the top is down and now with the curtains they notice a reduction in the wind. Update: I noticed that other reviews say Bungee is too short. For me they are the right size. If they are longer, they don't create enough tension on the curtain and you end up with a looser curtain that swings more in the wind. It looks like a bungee: the cord that people have the most trouble with is at the center of a large safety pulley between the front and rear openings. I've attached an image as a workaround. Use 2 elastic cords (one for the front curtain and the other for the back curtain). ) in combination with each other instead of trying to string a string around a large crossbar. I hope the picture helps you to understand what I mean.
