Review on Dc 501 Ryobi Electric Carving Knife by Christine Cepeda

Just got this so it's really a first impression. Well packed. The instructions are in Japanese but there isn't much to explain. The blades are fixed with a simple screw collet. The three blades supplied appear to be of good quality. They are sharp and cut well. I also bought a set of Flexcut blades which are lighter and better suited to my purposes. Flexcut blades fit the tool perfectly without any modifications. The tool is quite small and light which makes it easy to use. I was impressed with the very flexible cable making it easy to use. I will be using this tool mainly for decorating my woodturning projects, mainly small boxes and hollow jars. All in all and a great purchase. Obviously I can't solve durability issues until I've used this tool for a while.
