Installation is easy - just pay attention to the measurements and don't press too hard on the velcro until you get it right. I guessed right at first and had to change position but no damage no foul. I had really bad airflow from my vent and could see out clearly even with the flap closed, so I wanted something thicker (i.e. non-mesh) to easily hide it. I can't say I don't feel the cold outside my door anymore, let alone the gusts of wind I'm used to! The mail arrived today, arrived with no problems and was thicker than usual. Note that no one can see inside at this time and that the mail is not distributed over the entire floor. Technically, someone could probably pull this off and try to hack, but it's just the risk of having a mailbox anyway. I like the little embroidered snail on it :D
