I bought it for an oil drain device for my Toyota. This device comes with a clear plastic tubing that stiffens in cold weather and has a "memory" making it difficult to use in the cold. This hose is great for that. I have no real experience of how long he will use it for an oil change but I've done 2 with it and love it. The good thing is that I only need about 10 inches of tubing so I can cut off small pieces a few times and will probably never use the whole tubing unless the oil eats it up, which is unlikely at the moment.
