I used this hose to overhaul the vacuum system on my V8 Audi A4 because it was cheap and honestly everything is the same. It sat in a cramped and hot engine compartment for several months. I'm buying more right now just to save for other projects and repairs.

Update 10/20 No problem, it worked great! 1/20 Too early to judge durability but original quality is impressive. Successful replacement of two vacuum lines in a 2001 VW Jetta turbo system, which is otherwise only available as an expensive kit in the car parts trade. Flexible yet strong. Without crushing and destruction. Saved me €150. VagCom is satisfied, emissions are passed.

The page states the size"Inner diameter: 1/8" (3mm). Outer Diameter: 9mm Length: 5 feet (60 inches). Wall thickness: 3 mm. "However, the actual outside diameter is about 7.9 mm, which is far too small for my application. I specifically needed the 9mm size to fit the special steel clamps I ordered for the turbo exhaust valve application. Return and purchase from another supplier. Hopefully UPGR8 will pick up its moves and list correctly sized items.

I bought it for an oil drain device for my Toyota. This device comes with a clear plastic tubing that stiffens in cold weather and has a "memory" making it difficult to use in the cold. This hose is great for that. I have no real experience of how long he will use it for an oil change but I've done 2 with it and love it. The good thing is that I only need about 10 inches of tubing so I can cut off small pieces a few times and will probably never use the whole tubing unless the oil eats it up…
