I've been using rechargeable batteries since the early 1970's starting with NiCD's and more recently MiMH batteries, and have saved so much money - and the environment to boot. These EBL MiMH rechargeable AA batteries have a large storage capacity that get better every few years. They are not as sensitive to charging problems like their LiOn brothers and won't spontaneously combust like the lithium batteries. The voltage output is around 1.2V a short time after charging, but should work fine in most electronic gadgets like LED flashlights, camera flash, radios, remote controls, etc. Just be aware that devices that require the full 1.5V of disposable alkaline cells might not give accurate battery life readings when using these due to the lower voltage. That small inconvenience is easily overlooked when you factor in the cost savings of these batteries over disposables.
