They are very cheaply made. Some of them are not as smooth as others and this makes them difficult to use because they don't slide over the yarn easily enough. Some of them have twisted hooks that don't line up with the handle. Depending on how you hold the hook, this can make it easier or significantly harder to grab the yarn, but since they are inconsistent I wouldn't recommend this "feature". The notch on the hooks is shallow so they don't hold thicker yarn very well. Finally, large hooks have a shank that is too small: a 9mm hook has an 8.5mm shank and a 10mm hook has a 9mm shank. If you're looking for an 8.5mm hook (I'm not sure if anyone makes one) this may work to your advantage, but otherwise it will lead to problems finding the right hook for the right size of your project . Overall I would not recommend this product.
