for the bed to slide under, I added these wheels which an additional 2 inches of headroom. There are no instructions in the box, but installation is easy. I looked at other reviews and followed their instructions and it worked well, in summary: 1. Drill a hole in each leg with a 3/8" bit (I drilled a smaller pilot hole first, which is the matter made easier). Make sure you drill the hole at least as deep as the wheel stem is long or it won't slip all the way through (you can mark the depth with tape on the drill bit).2. Use a hammer to drive the socket insert into the hole until the teeth engage the wood. I recommend carefully taping the outer perimeter of the insert to avoid deforming the hole (the hammer pushes in and deforms it more from the impact). 3. Insert the wheel stem into the hub and you're done. It is so easy.
