This product was clearly designed by someone who knows nothing about boaters. To hide the tiny mounting screws, they made the bayonet mounting system. This requires the wire to be left slightly slack. Then mounting on the cabin ceiling is not possible. The waterproof switch makes it difficult to turn on. If your boat is submerged, you have bigger problems than a shorted switch. It's more like a headlight or map light. Highlighting only the small circle directly below! Leave the rest of the interior dark. I put my old interior lighting back in.
