Review on Mini Nonstick Egg 🍳 and Fry Pan by Joie, 4.5-inch by Josh Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great in new condition - nonstick is short lived

I love these pans so much I keep buying them although it's so disappointing they don't stay non stick for very long. I'm very careful with them - keep the heat low and only use a silicone spatula. You don't need oil or butter for the first few weeks if you don't want it, and after about two or three weeks it starts to stick a little and soon heavily. If you use PAM or liquid lecithin (that's what I use, it's cheaper - just a tiny drop of lecithin smeared in a pan) you can get away with it for a few more months, but eventually they start to stick to the point , where they are useless . However, I love them so much that I buy a new one every few months. I'm not sure how to use them (can't find instructions) - this is how I use them: I beat an egg in a small bowl - chop up some mushrooms, spinach or asparagus and add them to the egg. Serve with some grated cheese – I also like to add a dollop of sour cream. brush and pour over the egg/vegetable/cheese mixture, then cover with the other half to maintain heat. I keep the heat pretty low. Once the bottom is browned (the top will still be runny) I unwrap the pan and place the empty top over the flame, heat and brush with oil, then close the pan, invert and allow the top to brown . (After the first 2-3 weeks you will need to start loosening the soil with a spatula before you can turn it over). a clear error in my method) please post your method.
