Review on YA 7007 Yamaha Performance Replacement Filter by David Silva

I opened up my airbox and found that my old filter had collapsed onto the actual intake and I didn't really feel like it was sealing well around the rim. I ordered this filter because I liked the idea of having a hard plastic "plate" that fits snugly and covers the filter. Can't complain about this part, it fits like a glove. The seal enters the fixed clamps evenly. Not sure if it breathes better than stock. It is much more profitable to do your own airbox cover mod. The standard filters breathe great, but I like the quiet this one gives because it's tight and sturdy.
