Review on Dualcomm POE Over Coax Adapter Kit DECA 200 by Ron Long

Unlike others who needed a UniFi PoE adapter, I had this thing on a 48-port UniFi switch (750W - Gen 1) with a UniFi Protect G4 Pro right away ready to use. I just did Switch -> White (Mode A) -> Coax -> Black (Mode B) -> G4Pro. The G4 Pro immediately started flashing white when turned on, it works great and has a 100Mbps signal. It was about 120 feet RG59. The only thing I would change is that the ethernet and BNC connectors come out the long side instead of the short side (i.e. rotate them 90 degrees on the PCB) to fit in a standard single box. With an Ethernet plug, a BNC adapter and a coax connection, this becomes too long to fit in a single box. However, this was resolved by switching to a large box.
