They work, but make sure you have a free connection!

I used them to connect a PoE camera. They work. It was easy to install and set up once I figured out the order (which device was the sender and which was the receiver) as the instructions aren't the clearest. The only issue I had was that it came with extra BNC connectors, so I'm assuming the ones made from it won't fit very well? After dealing with short cables, I completed the installation. After putting everything together, my camera stopped connecting to the network. Not sure if it's a…

Fantastic product! best in network adapters

Unlike others who needed a UniFi PoE adapter, I had this thing on a 48-port UniFi switch (750W - Gen 1) with a UniFi Protect G4 Pro right away ready to use. I just did Switch -> White (Mode A) -> Coax -> Black (Mode B) -> G4Pro. The G4 Pro immediately started flashing white when turned on, it works great and has a 100Mbps signal. It was about 120 feet RG59. The only thing I would change is that the ethernet and BNC connectors come out the long side instead of the short side (i.e…

Great product when you need it

Currently used to power the Ubiquiti G3 dome camera. Initially I had trouble getting this to work as the camera would not turn on when plugged directly into the adapter (same for mode A and B). But after some trial and error I realized that there is a compatibility issue with the camera, probably in how the camera determines whether to use 802.3af or passive 24V. It finally worked after adding the Ubiquity Instant 802.3af adapter between the mode B adapter and the camera. So the order is…

Good little adapter for network products

Worked. I love the fact that it's a small form factor and POE. No additional power supply is needed, just connect the Cat 5/6 cable to the POE switch. The only problem is that I was only able to get download/upload speeds of 10Mbps and I don't know how to get to the 100Mbps level. I checked the throughput and every time it was 10 Mbit / s. In addition, the adapter uses a BNC connector that is not compatible with the household connector F. You need to purchase a BNC-F adapter before use.

Elegant solution!: Computers & Accessories

This is a very elegant solution when you need to use a POE camera (or other POE device) with traditional coaxial cabling. If you have a 4-wire ethernet interface to your camera (Doorbird), you will need to contact the company for a DECA-Mode A kit for DECA-Mode A. If you have any problem with the product, do not hesitate to send an email to Dualcomm immediately. I did it on Saturday and the inventor of the device replied within 2 hours. Two emails later, the problem was identified as the…
