Review on DeWalt DXCM024 0343 Double Premium Rubber Air Hose by Robert Johnson

I've seen some reviews on this hose reel that were anything but flattering. I don't know what the complaints were about - this coil replaced a Campbell-Hausfeld coil that fell apart after relatively little use and I only wish I had bought this coil in the first place. The ratcheting action is positive, the return is smooth and quiet. The only small suggestion I could make to DeWalt would be to make the cable longer. To install it where I wanted it was too far from my compressor to reach the umbilical so I had to buy a coupler to extend the hose length. No big deal - it was a minor inconvenience. Of course, that doesn't detract from the role itself, I like it MUCH better than my old one. I also think it's a much more solid construction. Four points nine five stars!
