Our hens love it and have had no problems with thin-shelled eggs. Most of our eggs are large, so our busy chickens really need a great source of calcium. These are high quality, good size oyster shells. High level texture. The resealable bag helps keep them fresh. A lot in one bag. We have 110 chickens and usually enough for a week. We leave it in the bowl so they can feed at any time for free. I am very happy with the thickness of the shell and shell of our eggs. I'll probably add them to my monthly delivery schedule.
