I set it all up in less than 10 minutes! Includes all cables needed to connect 2 computers together. Keep in mind that this only applies to USB mouse/keyboard and HDMI (or DVI with optional converter port) monitors. It's nice and small and just sits on the floor (I'm using an Apple Mac Pro with a very short DVI cable). I had to use a DVI to HDMI adapter to use it with my Apple display, but it worked great. Note that when switching to a second computer, it sometimes takes a few seconds for the mouse to activate. I've found that just moving the mouse works. This is because the mouse goes into sleep mode when not in motion. In fact, I've seen this on other KVM switches, so I guess it's just the mouse I'm using with it. KVM isn't powered either, so it probably has something to do with that. But I would rather use this one without power (need 1 wire and less power connection!)
