Ideal for smoothies and shakes!
My husband and I drink healthy smoothies and smoothies (shakeology, green smoothies, etc.) every day and they are perfect. They're about 8 3/4" long when the flex is stretched and are perfect for our cups (we usually use NutriBullet cups). I've had trouble finding good straws (the ones I kept finding were 3/16"). Colors are vibrant too. However, these are disposable straws, so we'll be buying them again when they run out. If you want wide straws, get these. If you need extra long straws - it's nothing for her.
