I was hoping that this grinder would solve our grinder problem but I was disappointed. It appears to be well built, but the food is either NOT UNIFORMLY cut at all (think big chunks being mixed into the mush) or the whole thing is liquified into a mush! It's all or nothing so it has the same problem as any of the helicopters I've bought over the years. If you hold it still to keep the contents from flying across the kitchen, it will engage the cutting blade and start chopping all over again! I'm not sure why so many people gave such high ratings but because of them I ordered it expecting something better. Oh I'm just glad I tried this out in the return window so I could get my money back. I bought a USB-C rechargeable mini garlic and ginger chopper for half the price (and a smaller size for storage), but I think I'll keep chopping onions, peppers, etc. with a good knife.
