I bought 2 of these and received them on time and in perfect condition. There are no dead or dead pixels. While I don't have any color calibration equipment, I'm very pleasantly surprised at how well these monitors perform when browsing multiple monitor calibration websites. I'm upgrading from a Samsung Synchmaster 2232BW and this monitor beats or equals it in every way. Also, both monitors display color/brightness/gamma almost exactly the same, so I had to tweak VERY little to match them. To be honest, I have absolutely no idea what people are saying about "movie". This was the only major concern I had, but now that I have two of these devices in front of me I am 100% satisfied. All cables connect perpendicular to the back of the monitor (not down or to the side). This means your cables increase the effective depth of the monitor. That means if you were hoping to place it directly against a wall, you're out of luck because the cables will stick out at the back. UPDATE 1: 11/20/2013. Today, one of two monitors failed after just 13 months. Most of the left side has pink lines and looks like a "burned" image. The monitors have never been moved or pushed since installation. The ambient temperature in my house is 70 degrees +/- 4 degrees. There is no environmental reason for this monitor's failure, it failed due to poor workmanship. I'm deducting 2 stars from my 5 star rating because of its short lifespan. UPDATE 2: December 2nd, 2013 HAPPY DAYS HAVE HAPPENED! I RMA monitor. The whole process was EASY and cost around $15 including shipping and handling. Received a new replacement package 7 days after sending the defective unit including new cables, instructions etc. This is REALLY the best warranty experience I have ever had. As far as I can tell, the new monitor is flawless. It goes perfectly with my other "old" unbroken monitor. Go back to 5 STARS for AMAZING SERVICE.
