Yarn breaks easily

This yarn is beautiful and I have to admit that one of the reasons I bought it was because it would look better in a jar on the counter than regular mint green. However, the floss breaks so easily that I have to use 3-4 flosses every morning instead of 1 to clean my mouth. Looks very pretty but doesn't do the job unless you have perfectly aligned teeth.
