When the old Powerline adapters that AT&T supplied with the installation of fiber optic Internet died almost 2 weeks ago, I knew nothing about this technology. I figured simply swapping them out would be enough (which I did), but found that the old technology didn't mix well with the new technology. The TrendNet adapters I bought only gave me 1/3 the speed I paid for; and that wasn't enough. Even my streaming services crashed (over wifi) during a program. Then I researched further and learned about the latest HomePlug AV2 technology and came across these D-Link powerline adapters! Keep this in mind if your house/apartment is old and you don't get the best results with old wiring. However, my house is new (3 years old). After connecting these adapters I tested my internet speed and found that I am now getting 100% of the speed I pay for which is amazingly awesome! I'm actually thinking about buying a second kit to connect my TV (it has an ethernet port) to the wired internet. I didn't rate tech support or games because I don't play games and don't need tech support.
