I usually like Delonghi products. They make pretty good products. After much research and discussion, I bought this portable air conditioner for $700. At first I was disappointed and wanted to return due to short hose and wifi issues. I couldn't use it right out of the box. I need to buy an extra hose and coupler to connect the hoses. So I had to spend extra. (My windows are California standard.) I couldn't find the WiFi device on the tablet app or my phone. I tried it on several Android phones. I had to call customer service which took 40 minutes to connect and fix wifi issues. They should have made WIFi and its instructions much more detailed and understandable. Customer service helped me connect WIFI which was not clear in the manual. CC took 20 minutes to figure out the problem and give me a solution. After that I was finally able to connect to the wifi and update the software. Overall it's a beautiful design, convenient remote control. Cooling and heating are good. The noise level is the same as other products on the market. This is the same underlying noise that comes from portable AC power. If you don't mind a short hose, this is for you. If you cannot connect to WiFi, please contact customer service. I usually give 5 stars but I gave 4 stars due to poor WIFI instructions and short hose.
