Worked on my Toyota Tacoma 96 2.7L manual transmission. My truck fell on my face after the ride. So when I was stopped at a traffic light or whatever (stalled due to a freeway exit or something) I would have real stutters at idle, almost like a misfire. And I was looking on You Tube and saw a video of a truck doing the same thing so I decided to give it a try. I recently replaced plugs, cords and all vacuum lines. So I took and cleaned the carbon from the throttle body as I removed it. It attaches to the underside of the throttle body and you will need an impact wrench to loosen the Phillips head screws. So if you have the same problem I will help you. This worked for me. And you may need to lower the idle after doing this. It's pretty easy too. Much luck.
