I got this for myself for my birthday and now I'm wondering how I've lived the last 25 years without it! It works so well to crochet or knit two cakes at the same time (which I love to do to make colored/reversible patterns). The pins keep the cakes off center and as you work the pins rotate to guide the yarn continuously and smoothly without snagging or pulling. For best results, pull on the outside and not the center of the cake or strand. This is genius! In terms of design and quality, this yarn ball holder fully deserves 5 stars. It has an attractive appearance and is made of high quality wood. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone working with yarn. Worth every penny and then some.
