Review on Garage Parking Assist Laser Guide by Jim Agosta

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Absolutely didn't think about the design of this product.

Get Started. This product is absolute crap and misleading in the way it can be used. Supposedly it can be used for two cars at the same time, but I would definitely like the designer to show me exactly how that's possible. The lasers are mounted on a ball mount and claim a rotation angle of 95°. The actual operating range angle is closer to 80° than 95°. That means it needs to be installed about 14ft off the ground to use it for 2 cars hoping to see the laser in the cabin. (See photos). The only way to get an angle close to 95° is to fold a laser completely. The length of cord for this is 3 feet. This severely limits how and where you can mount this sensor, unless you have outlets all over your garage that almost nobody else has. The switch allows you to select one or both lasers, but selecting a laser does not allow you to select WHICH laser is on. I hope you play around with this before fitting it otherwise you may end up with a non-functional laser on your car causing endless headaches. According to the instructions, double-sided tape is included. no is not it. And let's talk about instructions. I think my 9 year old son could have written a more detailed guide and would probably have fewer spelling mistakes than here. The last word. Let this sensor pass. I'm sending mine back. It doesn't cost $20. Much less than the $25 I spent. They say you get what you paid for. I didn't know exactly. 2 stars out of 5 because the lasers actually turned on and the motion sensor seemed to work. The rest of this thing is crap.
