Needed a new can valve, got it with this kit

The last time I had to add refrigerant the can spigots were still in use. Today I discovered that new EPA regulations require refrigerant cylinders to be recapped and I needed the right valve for a self-sealing cylinder. I bought this item because not only does it offer a matching faucet, it also comes with a newer gauge and longer hose. The job was successful, the pressure gauge showed the refrigerant level at the lower tolerance limit, I put in a canister and the suction pressure normalized again, the cooling effect of the machine was excellent: it simply survived a 100-degree day.

Pros
