When I first saw this I decided to buy it for leak detection. Since it arrived I now see that it is a much more advanced product. The device consists of a central command center and two sensors designed to be installed on the hot and cold water pipes (3/8 inch) under the sink or vanity. After installation, you can see subtle changes in water pressure; and the system claims to be able to identify "signatures" throughout the home, even in things as disparate as toilets and washing machines. It appears to use artificial intelligence to model typical usage patterns; and can then use that knowledge to track water usage and spot unusual events like leaks or burst pipes. Alexa integration is interesting; but it seems to take some time to "get to know” your home and your water usage; So I'm still letting it collect data to see if it's useful. But I'm curious about the possibilities.
