With 1 input and 4 outputs, this splitter allows you to use capture devices with devices like Playstation 3 that are normally restricted by DHCP. If you're using the Elgato HD60 S+, you know you need to disable HDCP on every console you want to game on, but with this splitter, you don't have to do that anymore. I use this with a 25ft HDMI cable and it works great. This splitter outputs only one resolution at a time, it forms a splitter that can output different resolutions at the same time; However, if you input 1080p, you will only get 1080p from this splitter. It works great for what I wanted, which is outputting my HDMI switcher to multiple sources. There is no noticeable loss of quality when using this splitter. I only got this recently so haven't used that particular 1x4 splitter in a very long time, but I've been using the smaller 1x2 splitter from the same company for 6 months and haven't had any problems. The build quality is excellent for the price and with the all-metal housing, the splitter looks very solid. It can get a little warm but not too dangerous. This is a great product.
