All tires are round and black. How can you tell good from bad? Four metal rotors and eight pads. They all look the same. I know Pagid is a reputable brand which is why I chose this kit. Cold bite is better than Akebono ceramic pads. Does it stop at a shorter distance than the Akebonos they replaced? I do not know. Does the car hold better because of the brakes or because of different tires? I do not know. I now have shiny parts in the kit that match. It is convenient that all the details are in one package. The station wagon holds and does not squeak. Update December 2019. The rear pad slides in the caliper and makes noise when shifting between forward and reverse gears. I contacted Hella.
