RETURNED: Poor design prevents VESA mount.

I returned this monitor because the seller incorrectly claimed it was compatible with a standard VESA 75x75 or 100x100 desktop mount. It cannot be installed in any way, although there are screw holes for that. The processing quality makes a decent impression at first glance. However, if you plan to attach this monitor to any type of VESA mount, forget it. Although there are appropriate screw holes for attaching the Vesa 100 x 100 mount, the handle for attaching the stock monitor stand protrudes outwards and does not allow the mount to be attached. I suppose it would still be possible to set this up with some sort of Vesa adapter, but good luck finding the right one because there are a million such configurations. The point is, you shouldn't design things that way. This has happened to me twice with two different brands claiming the monitor is Vesa mountable and then showing the mounting holes for the bracket and then constructing it in such a way that installation is extremely difficult if not impossible. It simply reflects a glaring lack of quality design and zero attention to detail. Such a simple function and such inexpensive electronics can never fix the situation. If the mount doesn't work properly I can't think of anything else that doesn't work on this TV/monitor. I didn't hold it long enough to test image quality or mechanical performance, so I left those aspects out of my review, but one can only guess that they are just as poorly assembled as the mount adapter. Pull yourself together, Specter. Seriously.
