My first wireless PC headset. Previously, I bought wired headphones for daily listening to music at work and on the subway, which cost 2 times more than these. These sound better. Then I got used to the fact that it falls into the peripheral view - it's just like you don't really notice your nose, although it is always visible =). Therefore, I can not say that this is a significant drawback. It's probably even better that it doesn't retract - fewer mechanisms, less breakdowns.
